WPML ElasticPress

WPML ElasticPress now shares the WPML 5.0 version number and needs WPML 5.0 or newer to run.

Running WPML ElasticPress with WPML 5.0

• The version moves from 2.1.0 to 5.0.0, so every WPML component now carries the same major version.
• WPML 5.0.0 or newer is required, and on an older WPML the plugin does not load.

Searching and indexing

• Clearing all indices now deletes only the indices of the current site, not those of other sites in the network.
• Syncing a single post no longer checks whether the index exists first.
• Fixed an error when the language ids were not ready before they were propagated to the index.
• The search language is validated when the query runs, and admin requests go through a request policy.

• Added support for the ElasticPress documents feature.
