Media Translation

This release speeds up several Media Translation screens and fixes a few long-standing filtering and notification issues.

Faster media screens

• Media translation screens load faster: duplicating media, warming attachment caches, and scanning posts for media now use batched queries instead of one-by-one lookups.
• Idle admin screens no longer trigger repeated background media scans; the scan now runs one batch per page load.

Media Translation dashboard fixes

• The status filter on the Media Translation screen now correctly filters attachments by their translation status.
• Filtering media by translation status no longer redirects you to the old Media page.
• The Media Translation setup link now takes you to the correct page.

Notifications

• Translation managers are notified again when a translation job is completed.
• The outdated "WPML Media database needs updating" message no longer appears.

Security

• This release includes security hardening.

GUI Changes

• Media translation can now be accessed from WPML > Translation > Media translation
• Adds support for WPML Multilingual CMS 5.0 admin UI changes
